This almost made me start collecting necrons again... Anyway, the history, the diplomacy, and everything is pretty damn solid - great work.

I mean, GW's Necron fluff have many name in the past, but none of those potential characters were utilized. Say, Nemesor Zahndrekh, Rakszan, Trazyn, they are the notable characters in the past fluff, where are they now? So does the other mentioned Crypteks...

I really don't want anything become just a name, a footnote, and no further character development...

Oh ok, I see what your saying. If you look in the Crusade of Fury thread you'll see planty of character development.

I should state that all events in that thread are situational and semi-Canon.

I'll be posting more official stuff when I write the background of my other factions and how they join the coalition(the Necron/Tau/any other race I feel like throwing into the mix)

The fluff and What not where decent, so good work i dare say. But the colours are not What i would describe as fitting, but each to his own

I prefer more gloomy colours if it makes any sens, when it comes to Necrons. White suits Eldar and other armies better in my mind. I find that the nature of the army should be reflected in its paint job, if it makes any sense

So about those dirge crashing in various ships?

Well, seeing that the new Necron fluff allows for a wider variety of personalities I think the white fits in well, especially seeing that it's more for camouflage then anything, but I do see your point.

I like the look of your guys, and have no problems with what your army looks like. However, I agree with Trondheim on the fact that if I had my choice, I would paint them in a more grim fashion, because that is what suits my taste when it comes to necrons. That isn't to say that other forms are bad, it just isn't what some might prefer overall. So in the end, they are your guys; do what you want with them, your paint job is plausible, it isn't ugly, but some just have different tastes.

Very true, I actually tried something a little more grim. If you look at my painting thread look at the Deathmarks, they're pretty grim lookiing

I have to admit, seeing a group of those fethers walking towards me would not be pleasant, to say the least.
