What are your thoughts about bringing Chaos Space Marine Havoc's with Missiles plus the Flakk missle option? Think its worth it? Are they kind of matched with Loyalist Space Marine Devastators? or are there better ways to spend my points?

As a Loyalist Marine player I will tell you that I don't fear Havocs with Missile Launchers. They suffer from the same problems that Loyalists Devs do. Missile Launchers really aren't that great. They're ok for hurtling light vehicles, but against anything heavier they suffer. Flak Missiles aren't that good either, really being hurt by only being STR 7 AP4. If you're looking for AA then there are definitely better ways to spend your points I would think

Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Hmmm maybe Lascannons would be better? LIke maybe just devote them for anti vehicle?

Autocannons are the most common loadouts for Havocs, they're arguably almost as good as a missile launcher against light vehicles, and you get more fire coming from the squad.

Also not sure what las cannons cost for chaos but i know for SM they are a bit pricey for how fragile the platform is.

yeah true... I think ACs are the way I'm going to go... they are actually one of my favorite types of weapons anyhow... it would be totally a thrill to march some AC carrying dudes on the table.

Autocannons are about the only thing Havocs got going for them.

I used AC havocs in my last game and they are solid performers in a dex that suffers being hit and miss!
However I also used MLs once and they were ok but nothing to write home about tbh and flak missiles are deffo not worth it... Still theres worse things to spend your points on than ML havocs

Eh, Cypher's Chosen can Infiltrate those weapons. I'd choose that over Havocs toting them.

Infiltrating flamers are almost never effective. Infiltrating plazma and melta is not bad though.

How about taking four special weapons (melta or plasma) and load them in a Rhino? They are cheaper than the similar build Chosen squad while not worse in shooting.

I use a squad of havocs with MLs. I don't upgrade them to flakk though.
They're an average unit that has a home in some forces. They're neither rubbish nor award winning.
