Subject: Corsair Battle Brothers?

"A Detachment from this army list treat armies from Codex: Craftworlds and Codex: Dark Eldar as Battle Brothers, and likewise, Allied Contigents of Eldar Corsairs are counted as Battle Brothers by Codex: Craftworlds, Codex: Harelquins and Codex: Dark Eldar armies."
So RAW Corsairs cannot use their powers on Harlequins or use their transports, but Harlequins can to the Corsairs?

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Another query i have about corsairs and levels of alliance:
If you use the coterie system to build your army, each coterie treats the other as allies of convenience. However, what if you take just 1 coterie and then a corsairs CAD. The rules don't say that a coterie treats any other type of detachment/formation as allies of convenience.
So, is it possible to have a corsairs coterie and a corsairs CAD and have them treat each other as battle brothers?

The answer to that lies in the Corsair Prince.
In his rules, you're told that any Corsair detachment must contain exactly 1 Corsair Prince. And, if your army contains multiple Corsair Princes, each detachment with a Corsair Prince treats any others containing Corsair Princes as Desperate Allies.

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

So it does! Well spotted! I guess I should pay closer attention but thanks for clearing it up.
