I quite frankly don't care who GM's. I love how Smudge has been doing the Crusade so far, but as long as the new GM is semi-competent and is willing to work with the player then I don't care who it is.

I will have you know, I suggested the orbital station...

I'd be happy for Smudge to (or at the least co-run with someone).
It feels quite ungrateful otherwise, and we also know that he's a balanced (albeit teasing) GM.

I'd be wary investing time and then end up with having it entirely fethed over because someone had "an idea". Thus far it's been quite self moderating.

Yeah smudge has never tried to play the game to help his own faction or such. He let himself suffer some bad loss,s.
Though I think TS could add some spice and deeper plots and mysteries

The NO plot was deeper than a sink hole.

I'll repeat. I love how Smudge has worked the Crusade. I'm just saying I don't mind if someone else wants to take over so Smudge can participate a little bit more

If you guys worked together on the larger plot line, but set faction/side missions and handled rolls for each.
I'd say to keep it fair, your force be in the side you are not GMing.

Its less competitive gms more reduces load on one alone. One keeps track of one faction and the other a second.
Both combine to work the larger plot as a whole and shape the storyline.

Hey guys, just thought I'd post this here to se how people would feel about this. So me and TS both wanted to play Imperial Knights in the new Crusade (yes, Imperial Knights, the big stompy death walkers). The idea we had in mind was to make the two groups from rival Houses (think of Romeo and Juliet with their rival Houses). While not exactly hostile towards each other, the two groups would have a great deal of mistrust. So another player or *cough* GM *cough* could try to play on that as a plot device. This is something that we've been talking about for a little while, and I feel it's the best way to maybe keep it fair, since we both really would like to play Knights. What do you guys think?

Maybe put them somewhere that ground troops cannot survive. Toxic air, moons, impassable land, etc. and have them take on big threats.
Otherwise frankly it does make squishy humans somewhat pointless and overshadowed, and causes escalation for the opposing side.

To be fair, we'd both have a very limited number of people on the ground. A Knight "army" in this case is only 6-7 strong total on the entirety of the planet (plus a few more pilots in orbit in case of losses. It wasn't our intention to escalate anything, it's just a cool idea we both had that we thought we'd run by everyone else.

Knights are not ideal in a dense hive city, boggy areas or in a say battle in rough terrain.

Not all planet they could b see used.
Say mountain ranges and valleys with narrow pass or such.

I like it, with very limited numbers you guys can't just go around mob squading people
