After buying a crapton of Burning Chariot of Tzeentch sets to make a bunch of heralds on Discs for a Screamerstar (Cheese I know) I realized I had a bunch of leftover parts that could make more "Discs". I always wanted to run a Thousand Sons sorceror covenant so I was thinking of mounting a bunch of power armored Sorcerors on Discs and using it as Librarians mounted on Bikes in the Librarius Conclave. Would that pass with most of you?

If the crunch is actually illegal, please tell me before I go about butchering a few dozen thousand sons models lol.

What's left of Cadia

I would be fine with it as long as you made sure I knew what everything was. That'd be cool to see!

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Does CSM have a Librarian Conclave or would you play them as Loyalists?

There's only an Apoc one. And that mostly includes you killing your own sorcerors to get a bigger boom.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

That apocalypse formation fires a Vortex template I think. So it'll go on a nice randomized trip each turn. At least, I think it does. No idea if vortex rules have changed.

Anyway it's called the Thousand Sons War Coven. You do need Ahriman and a lot of Sorceres for it. They use Storm of Change. It's a 48" Witchfire with S : D.

I would have to be playing them as Loyalists. I hope that if there is a new CSM codex, they would grant us a Sorceror Coven. I mean god damn this is one thing that CSM would actually like to steal from the Loyalists!

New Zealand

If a model counts-as a biker, be sure to mount it on a biker base - that helps remind everyone, and helps avoid rules arguments re LoS, base-to-base contact etc etc.

I have no problems with the concept fluff-wise - they're riding chaotic creatures who happen to move like bikes do.
