Subject: I'm wanting to slowly grow my Tau Army (Retaliation Cadre specifically), so what should I get next?

Just wondering what you all think would be the best option next. Since the GW Store I play at runs Apoc events from time to time, I'm considering buying another Riptide so that I'll be that much closer to a Riptide Wing Apoc Formation. What do you all think?
Thanks

Unlike Broadsides and Crisis suits, multiple Riptides always find their way into competitive lists. It's not a bad idea to have a few (I have 4)

For those that voted for Crisis Suits or Broadsides, why? I'm honestly curious. I really would like to learn about Tau.
Thanks

Well the Firebase Cadre is still pretty reasonable and wants you to have more Broadsides than Riptides. The Crisis Suits are also a larger requirement than the Riptide in the Ret Cad, so without rally knowing what you have it's hard to suggest more Riptides until you have enough stuff to build a solid and large base formation.
Not only that but you'll need something like two Riptides, on top of that one, to make the Riptide Wing, since your current Riptide has to be used in the Ret Cad. So it's probably just a matter of Suits and Sides being easier to include, while also having more versatility, but the Riptide is still a perfectly fine choice, just harder to back in without knowing what you have.
