So I got updates to a number of my "enhanced edition" codexes, but what drew my eye was that the chaos daemons and dark Angels were being updated for errata?!?

Does this mean GW is releasing rules updates now?
Are they recinding their policy of absolute silence on the book rules?

I know they solved the issue of the Ravenwing and the HQ for the DA: they only had 1 HQ with the ravenwing rule, but the formation let you take 3 hq with this rule IIRC.
Now, every DA HQ with a bike has ravenwing rule, IIRC again

Um, daemons didn't get anything, unless I just can't see it on the errata page on the Web store.

They don't get the Ravenwing rule (that was the ITC errata), but are now allowed in the Strikeforce if on a bike. A great step forward, and hopefully a sign that maybe they're going to care about FAQ's again. Possibly a by-product of the Specialist Games startup?

But then again, it was nearly a year (Jan to Dec) between updates, and the DA only got a single issue FAQ'd (arguably, it was the only glaring issue in the 'dex I can think of). Will have a look at how comprehensive the others are once released as proper FAQ pdfs.

Verdict: Hopeful, but cautious.

At the moment it's only the Digital Codexes that have been updated, we're still waiting on downloadable pdf versions for people with dead-tree Codexes.

Well I would take a screenshot if my iPad 2 wasn't a janky piece of gak.
My codex is updating for errata tho, at least that's what it says.

They are there in the background on the GW site now. For example :

A lot of the others are also showing as being updated December 2015 when you go into them

The Astra Militarum codex has been updated as well. the only difference I can easily see is that it now has the profile for a Power Klaw. As far as I remember, there wasn't one before even though Commisar Yarrick was equipped with one.

Looks like they have uploaded a zip of all the updated PDF (sneakily hidden with -dec15). Doesn't look to be any major changes though Shield of Baal and Stronghold Assault also look to have some changes.
