Probably fairly obvious but just to clarify, if I elect to stomp with a Super Heavy Walker and roll a 6 on the stomp table for the affected unit what happens?

It states that you remove them as a casualty but it doesn't mention if they can take any kind of saves against this? Anyone have an answer?

The "remove them as a casualty" pretty much covers it. You just ... you know ... remover them as a casualty, just like it says.

Thats what I thought, but my opponent is somewhat butthurt about this so I just wanted a non-biased clarification.

For a better explanation:

Saves are taken against wounds(cover and invulnerable can be taken against glancing and penetrating hits), remove as a casualty causes no wounds to save against.
