That would pretty much be me, though Necrons are still my most enjoyable army. I like being able to field whatever I want in a casual setting and still have a high chance of winning.

For me, it's not just that my Necrons win a lot, it's that they win in such a dull manner. Being nigh-indestructible is quite possibly *the* most boring trait a unit in a wargame can possess. Destroying enemy units in 40k is fun, and brings a sense of accomplishment. Usually the most fun games are the ones in which both players lost a lot of stuff - because both players got to feel that their armies were achieving stuff. On that front, Necrons don't just throw a wrench into the works, but also a spanner, a hammer and the entire fething toolbox.

It's a shame, because there are a lot of things I like about Necrons, and even spent some time creating a custom destroyer lord:

However, I just don't find them fun to play, and nor do my friends enjoy playing against them.

Well yeah, but I tried to diversify what I use. I played a 3000 point game against Sisters and Admech, and I used a bunch of vehicles and very little infantry. I won, but I had 2 vehicles left out of my entire army. It was an intense game. I also use things like Trazyn and Imotekh (I personally love using Imotekh), as well as Monoliths and other less used things to make the games play differently. I avoid using Infantry lines as much as possible, because it does get boring after awhile.

You must be the only Necron players I know that hate their play style.

I've had a friend drop his Raptors for Necrons and takes multiple Canoptek Harvests, or Destroyer Cults if going against a CC army (always both in large games) and a ton of Flyers. Decurion everytime, have to play enough points to allow a Harvest or Cult, no exception. He loves being able to curb-stomp frequently and quite often proclaims them to be awesome.

Got another friend who is starting to collect Necrons after collecting 5000 points of IF. Again, Canoptek Harvests.

It's boring to play against. I have to take PenTyrant lists to stand a chance and I find that incredibly dull. Maybe it's the attitude that gets to me, although the play style certainly doesn't help the situation.

Anyhoo, to answer OP, I enjoy playing my armies bar DE (because Corsairs/Craftworlds do it better) when myself and the opponent are playing casually, with one or two good units that we enjoy using.

Necrons all the way.
I've shelved my Eldar. They come rather close.

For me there are a couple reasons why I choose to feel the Army's I do and why I love fielding them both. I love my Farsight Enclaves army because it is entirely made up of Battle Suits appealing to my enjoyment of Mecha Anime and Pacific Rim.

However it does pale in comparison to my Elysian Drop Troops. There's something about watching my xenos opponent's (I don't ever try to play my Imperial army against another Imperial Army, actually one of the reasons I got my Tau) eyes widen in horror as he sees 8 Flyers across the table. Also the army looks fantastic!

If I didnt dislike Forge World in general so much, I would have played the Elysians you mention a long time ago. They look like fun.

Lately, my 30k armies more than my 40k ones. My opponent can build his army however, but I enjoy the challenges offered by 30k's listbuilding system compared to 40k's "Free-For-All" method.

Out of curiosity, why do you dislike Forge World?

Please don't bring this up again. There was a whole thread about it that went on for like 10 pages.
