Very cool! The paintjob and photography make him look straight out of a comic book. I love it!

Insane and unbelievable are the first words I think of when I try to describe it.
Looks like a computer rendered pic.
Great flawless job!

This guy is fantastic, I love the paint job and you have soo succeeded in your aim to make him darker and more brooding.

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

That gradient work is amazing? How does one achieve that cloth-like appearance on the cape?

He looks fantastic! I love the cape. The face on it's own looks great, but for some reason I feel as if the pale face doesn't quite work with the bright, colourful armour; perhaps I'm just used to zombie and vampire miniatures having dark and/or faded clothing. Slightly more desaturated/less golden hair might work better with the pale face as well?

An incredible paint job, wow! I would also love to know how you got that effect on the cape.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Thank you all for your comments. I'm really glad that you like my work and now I'm going to answer the questions about how I made the armor. At first I blew black-and-white gradient with airbrush. Then I glazed it with 5 mixtures:

1)white+Squig orange
2)the 1st +2nd mixes
3)Khorne red
4)KR+Naggaroth night
5)4th mix+a little black
Then I worked with brush.
Put these colors on a wet palette and treated all surfaces with wet blending to give it the finished look. Finishing the whole armor took about 5-6 hours.

Cool!

I don't mean to sound pessimistic or like an idiot, but at first, I thought the image was either computer generated or retouched.

This figure is actually gigantic right? Amazing work.

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.
