I know the rulebook says that independent characters don't get the rules of the squad they joined unless otherwise specified, but a friend of mine was playing a game and his opponent tried to claim that his weirdboy gained tankhunters from joining tankbustas from joining them and that his psychic shooting attacks got it as well. Is any of that correct? I've always known the rule to be they don't get the squads rules, but the squad can get their rules depending on the rule. Correct me if I'm wrong.
