Too bad the Battletech minis suck. Atlas for example should be pretty hefty. He almost has chicken legs.

Such a shame, I loved Battletech, it's what got me into gaming. Too bad the artwork sucked back then and I lost interest in it, and tried to get back but man IWD or what ever they are called, the website sucks, and their minis are even worse. No wonder people can't be interested in Battletech.

Pretty bad I bought the Robotech boxset just so I can have some real Battletech minis.

Chicken leg Atlas?

Have you seen the most current sculpt?

This is an older sculpt that is spindly and rather crap.

The current sculpt is far and away a truer representation of the `Mech.

Or how about this for a beefy looking Atlas?

I think that I have three different Atlas sculpts in my possession, my favourite being the Plastech one from 15 - 20 years ago. Everything else just looks too scrawny to me.

I wish everyone could just be cool and get along for long enough to commercially manufacture models of the MWO designs.

They could make serious bank.

Not sure how you feel about fan projects, but there are some MWO models floating around:

I did find a place that does MWO miniatures, but I didn't want to mention it on here in case The Man spots it and people get in trouble!
