Hey, Dakka. It took me a while but I finally decided to paint my small space marine army into the DeathWatch space marine chapter color scheme. I always use inquisition allies within my marine army so I thouhgt that it would be great fluff wise to paint them as deathwatch.
Now, I've looked a bit, but is it possible to get the awesome shoulder pads with the big I on it?
heres an example of said chapter : http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Deathwatch
There is of course the bitz conversion pack made by GW, but it doesn't have the Inquisition =I= on it :(

I think so in either the SM commander or the command squad box? I think it's a case of buying from bitz sellers and ebay. I personally went for the GW upgrade kit for ease and I find they look fine

Both the Command Squad and Commander boxes have a Deatchwatch shoulderpad, as does the Terminators box.

Yes, they have. In the Deathwatch variant, with a skull in the middle.

The "I" stands for the Imperium. The skull and three bars is what makes it the symbol of the Inquisition.
The Ecclesiarchy uses a skull surrounded by a halo, the Arbites a set of scales, the Astra Telepathica an eye, the Custodes an eagle's head with four lightning bolts, and so on for all the Adepti.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

There are rumours floating around about Deathwatch getting some sort of release soon. I believe the current crop originated with BoLS which ordinarily I wouldn't put much score in, but plastic Deathwatch *were* a part of the rumour batch back in February which included plastic Horus Heresy, Adeptus Mechanicus and the Assassins boardgame all of which turned out to be true.
