so for Christmas this year I have got the blood angels battle force and ive made it and I also have a bit of money (~£70-£100) that I want to use of blood angels but what should I get as I don't really know that much about blood angels so if somebody could help that would be great

I found the Storm Raven was a nice kit to build and has a lot of utility for carrying a dreadnought, assault squad and a homing beacon for terminators

if I get a storm raven what else could/should I get also ill be against orks/elder when against my brother

My thoughts would be a furioso dreadnought in the rear grapples (av13 front armour to make it more difficult for enemies to kill it, along with an assault squad (it can carry a squad of 12 models) - jet packs included.

If not the assault squad, then Sternguard for general shooting flexibility.

My thoughts are by no means super-competitive though. I'm looking at the BA codex but my experience is with the standard marine codex (so I would use an ironclad in place of the furioso). I'm just talking about what I found fun and flexible.

EDIT: If you're looking at buying some models, may I suggest Darksphere (I see you're UK based). They give 25% off RRP and I've only ever had excellent service from them.

You might want to build with one of the BA formations in mind. I'm currently trying to get the Archangels sanguine wing to work.

Yeah. I've got a list ready to go. I just need some maces and axes. I already have old vet assault squads from 2nd ed. I hate having to reserve, but maybe the 400 pts of free stuff will be worth it. Priests with vanguards are pretty good.

FNP makes everything better. Even Berserker Marines are almost mediocre with Daemonkin because you can earn FNP. Still worse than MoK Marines but whatever.

I plan on going instore as I only live a few minuites from town and was going to buy instore because im friends with the guy in the store (who works there)
