Subject: Full Length 40k Battle Report: Big Mech Stompa in the house!
I commented about this in the other thread but basically (And spoilers obviously):
1.) Less rage senpai, it's unprofessional. I get it, it sucks, and I can understand the frustration, but it's too lingering for your professional status.
2.) It was really cool how at the end the other player said they didn't see a way to play better, but when confronted with other options that would have changed the game a lot they admitted that was true. Takes a big person to acknowledge enlightenment, so they have a lot of respect from me D:
3.) This is probably my favourite battle report

Just a pretty important FYI Reecius, if you take the two Deffkannons on the Kustom Mek Stompa then it loses its' melee D weapon so that Deathblow against the Stormsurge should not have happened! I might be mistaken but it seemed like you were shooting two 7" blasts from the KMS in this game.

Yeah I was gonna comment the same. IMO it's not worth losing the D-claw for another 1" blast but they played with both regardless ha.
Yup, I made a big boo boo on that one, that was on me. You lose your D weapon with 2 Kannons.
Also, what do you guys think about the fire arc on the head of the Stompa? I played it as a turret ad the head actually turns, but some folks think it should be played as a fixed forward arc.
@Tinkrr
Yeah, fair play. I do get salty sometimes I know it is unattractive and a bad habit. It is something I need to focus on as a way to improve myself as a gamer. I appreciate you pointing it out.
I try to hold it in but I swear I develop Tourette Syndrome, lol. But yeah, it is a poor habit.
This was a fun game even with the mistakes. My opponent was a really cool guy.

Nah I think it makes sense playing it as a turret man. There's nothing super-official to say otherwise
Yeah, that was my thought, too. GW has stated to play them as they look, so to speak, and so the head certainly seems like a turret, but I didn't want to seem like I was pulling a dick move on that one.
The arm and belly guns though, are obviously normal Dread weapons.

I know the feeling, and I'm sure we've all experienced it, especially when it's a reoccurring thing like getting seized constantly. So as a fan it wasn't too bad, but I can imagine a newer viewer being put off by it, then again some streamers are appreciated for their saltiness, like Reynad, so who knows maybe it's helping as much or more than it's hurting.
Maybe just try to keep a mental counter of how many times you've stated something when it does happen as then you can at least phrase it in different ways so it isn't as noticeable? There's definitely an art to taking something negative and expressing it in a way that's entertaining, such that you won't have to bottle it up completely. Or maybe just be like "Hey, I'll be right back I need to use the restroom" and then use that time to decompress and splash some water on your face or something if all else fails.
Other than that, I really liked this battle report and can't wait to see more.
