Thinking about buying into machine/hordes, don't know which faction I'm gonna play for sure yet ( they all look so neat) but I think I want to stArt with an all in one if I can find one for the faction I settle on. Are they all a good place to start or are some better than others?

I'm leaning towards either cygnar or legion with Khador coming in a close 3rd by just looking at the models. How are those three all in 1 box load out?or should I get battle box and work up instead. Thanks for your time.

The Cygnar all-in-one is a pretty decent starter for Siege. Generally Siege wants Rangers and Reinholdt, but this is a good starting point.

Both the Convergence and Khador ones look excellent. I've been too busy drooling over those two to look close at the others.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

Yes is the simple answer. All in on boxes are great.

The all in one boxes are a great buy but might be hard to find since most came out early in 2015. They sold really quick at my FLGS most people bought them as soon as they arrived.

They are an excellent way to get started.

You are basically getting a free Heavy Warjack or Warbeast with each army, and it's the full model so you don't have to build the heavy they show on the box.

Not only will you play with each model/unit that comes in the army, you will continue to use some of them as you expand beyond the box.

The AIO boxes are all fabulous deals, and have models which synergize fairly well.

I can confirm this. I use most of the stuff from the Khador All In One, WG Deathstar, Spriggen, Ayana and Holt, Widowmakers, Wardog, it's pretty good I'd say, and with plenty of room to expand outwards IMO

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.
