The Pikeman's Lament is an upcoming skirmish ruleset for the pike and shot period, currently playtested at my club. Here my Poles teach the Swedes some manners:

Well I'm so going to pick this up. I wonder if it's going to be compatible with the other lion rampant games?

It's the same engine but with certain things altered to suit the pike and shot period (unit types, ranges, etc). There are also several campaign-style features, but I can't really comment on that yet. : )

Nice. I think I may have the stepping stones for an escalation type of campaign or story I could do with my gaming buddies now, the bridging point between the upcoming En Garde and Pike & Shotte as it were.
