Hi
Am thinking of expanding my Daemonkin Army
Need a Lord of War to compete with other lists out there.
But which one is worth taking ?
any advice would be great.

Depends what you're trying to achieve.
The Brass Scorpion is very tasty, but it specialises in crushing infantry and smaller walkers and vehicles - it tends to come off badly in a superheavy grudge match.
By comparison, a chaos Knight Paladin or Knight Errant with the Daemon Knight rule is less use against 'normal' opponents, but is very good at taking down other super-heavies. The Kytan is the same - better at it, but more expensive.
The Chaos Titans are the scariest, If neither price nor points are any object, you can't go far wrong with a chaos titan loaded out with turbo-lasers. Whatever target you're up against, unless it's either invisible or in mid-air, if it takes 4+ large blast destroyer hits in quick succession it's in trouble.

Currently the rule for Chaos Knights and the Kytan are downloads on the Forgeworld home page.
If you're after stopping enemy superheavy walkers, I'd go with the Kytan or Chaos Knight. It's what they're built for.
Plus, they get Blood For The Blood God in a Daemonkin army, and can rack up a lot of points for you very fast.

Not here, but there is an Army Lists forum designed for that kind of thing.
The only point about any of those options that you need to remember is that they are FW rules, so the vast majority of people will likely complain about facing them unless prior notice given.
Whereas something like that godawful Khornemower is a GW LoW, so it's likely to run into less complaints despite being ridiculously more powerful.

yeah that Lord of Skulls is just horrendous looking. :(
Rather spend the money and points on something you will enjoy ... even if it is sitting on a shelf.
Its Crazy at the minute as CSM and Daemonkin need the forgeworld stuff to help as much as possible. :/

To be completely honest, and depending on your local group, I dont believe many people would object to you using the Kytan model as a Lord Of Skulls in rules.
So, by all means buy the Kytan, just be aware that it may spend more time as a proxied LoS than it does as Kytan

Definitely the Chaos Knight. If you like the FW model, go for it; otherwise just Chaos up a regular knight and you're good to go!
It's also a great model for Daemonkin, as you can take a 35 pt upgrade to increase it's invulnerable save (as well as the invulnerable save of all daemons of khorne within.....6 or 12 inches, I forget which). Very good model.

I also suggest the Brass Scoprion or the Krytan. Scorpion is a serious blast to play with. Planning on grabbing a Krytan soon, I5 destroyer attacks? YEAH!

If you want a LoW you'd better be taking this big 999 point bad-ass because all he does is crap all over your opponent each turn. And who cares about taking CADs, just take him and Pink Horrors and you'll be set.
Plop him down in a 1500 point game and watch him literally obliterate your opponent first turn. Many thanks to Ateos for existing, he makes Eldar and Tau disappear faster than cultists.

Can't take him in games lower then 3996 points. None of the daemon lords can be more then 25% of the army's cost.
