This one is pretty good for the era it's from. Some good synergy in this pack as well

I agree, Synergy is beautiful, and for the era-specific play, its nice.
Still annoys me that the Vulcans ended up as their own faction, but eh. Automatically Appended Next Post: Makes me wonder if they might release the Columbia next, and maybe some of the other smaller Fed ships from Enterprise Era...

Andorians got plenty of screen time in Ent, but it was always the same Andorian. I think they could get another ship out if they really stretch it with some generic stuff but that is about it. So Independent is the about the best place for them. The Vulcans on the other hand were popping up all over the place in Ent.
Columbia would be pretty cool. There is plenty of stuff to do for that, a captain, crew and it could be a way to make another Trip.

Weren't there additional Adorian warships on screen?
I am just really agrivated with some of the factions they decided to release as their own factions, rather than Independent: Vulcan, Ferengi, Species 8472, Bajoran, Kazon... So man malnourished factions with only a handful of ship types. Not to mention that the Independents are fairly undernourished as well.
We combat this with the house rule that all factions with 4 or less hull types are Independent.

Considering how obscure some of the references we have gotten so far, I wouldn't be surprised if we get the toher Andorians as prize ships for an upcoming OP, perhaps the Romulan Drone crisis that created the Federation?

Well according to Memory Alpha there is "Telev's Battle Cruiser" from the eposode Cease Fire. WK has made similar ships before Nunk's Marauder, Bok's Marauder, Chang's BoP, so it is possible the Andorians could get another ship. There are no other named/unique ships, but apparently Memory Alpha also lists a smaller Andorian cruiser that had ver limited screen shots, but no less that the Yeager. It would have been a stretch to Make a faction from these 3 ships, but there is the possibility of more releases, so buy lots of Kumaries amd show WK how much you love Andorians

The show was slow the 1st 2 seasons but really took off towards the end and had so much potential leading into the Romulan and Federation War. Would have been interesting to see how they would have handled not knowing that the Romulans were related Vulcans. Historical omission to protect the Federation's birth, presence of Remeans as crew, no prisoners they self destructed ship before prisoners, deep space desiccation made the think they were Vulcan bodies.....

We could very well see the Romulan Federation War as a potential OP storyline...

I think that war kinda got erased, didn't it? They mention it a couple times in the old Star Trek series, but I don't think they ever mentioned it in any other series, right? It was kinda like "The Neutral Zone exists because the Romulans don't play well with others."
About the Kumari- quite possibly the best Independent ship in the game. That maneuver dial and it's 180 arc blows me away. You'll never need to invest in a Dorsal Phaser or 360 weapon with this ship. It has a hard left/right 2 white maneuver and 180 fire arc. That is just epic!
Only 3 attack dice is a bit of a disappointment, but that's more Wizkids fault by giving us ships with 5-6 base attack dice. Once that Pandora's Box was opened, it made all other builds with less then that many attack dice irrelevant except as support (like Donatra on a Romulan Science Vessel, or a mine layer, or shuttle craft).
When I look at this ship though, all I can think is Khan, Seven of Nine (free [ BS] version), Type-8 Phaser Refit and Tactical Stations.

The Romulan War is still canon. They talk about it in Enterprise when Archer visits the future. There are references to the establishment of the Neutral Zone in TNG and the Tommed Incident.

For use in era specific scenarios this is a good pack, for competitive OP play I can't see it being much use.
As tamwulf says there are too many ships with 5-6 attacks now that are much better options than this.
I'm glad it's independent, we don't need more factions with only one ship design.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it. |

Agreed! I Think a dual Faction rule of Independent/Fed would have been a better call for the Vulcans, and for Era specific play, I think this is honestly the best ship available.
