Ok so I have done some google image searches on the Sons of Horus armor color and it turns up paint jobs including Teal, Dark Green, Faded Green, Bright Green, and even some nearly Grey Green. The wiki says "pale green" but I can't seem to find the definite color for them (if they even have one).

It would appear that everyone at GW agrees that Sons of Horus were all the same colour (no source appears to have Sons of Horus in different shades), but apparently no two artists at GW can agree what the actual colour *is*

False Gods describes Loken's armour variously as:
"its new colour, a pale, greenish hued metallic"
"its greenish, metallic sheen still new and startling to him"
"resplendent in his armour of pale green"

I think it's easier to just describe them as the Minty Marines.

This would be the classic look for SoH, but to be fair FWs current color scheme for them is probably the best bet now.

But, most SoH armies mix black in.

Well here is my SoH, right before the assault on Terra.

Alright so it does come down to lack of artistic consistency. I find it interesting that the current FW paint job seems to be the biggest outlier in color with a much more saturated look than the more washed out color that matches the description of pale green. Thank you all for your contribution.

Given that they were the Luna Wolves originally, I always thought of their armor as being kind of a greenish pale grey, intended to evoke the image of the moon.

I've always thought of them as a kind of sea green, like Kabalite green if we're talking GW paints.
