so, in a world where the newest mc and gmcs are overpowerd gak fests and there is a chance forgeworld will redo imperial armour 8, can they give use a reasonable monstrous and gargantuan creature?
maybe, but we can hope.
until then we can theorize and speculate what could be. do most players want cheap, slightly more durable then a truk big squigoth, or an expensive but tough as nails version. should the gargantuan squigoth get a price reduction or a usefullness boost.
lets brainstorm.

me personally, i would like a cheaper squigoth, somthing to realy supliment trukks in my force.
give it 10 transport, 3+ save with s6 t6 at 5 wounds. bs 2 and ws 3 or 4. 3 attacks, and the option to upgrade to combat drugs. i could see it worth 60pts, or 50 if they want to make it more desireable and the ability to take it in squadruns (elite choice or heavy).
as for the gargantuan, im not sure, i dont have much experience with gmcs, so i wouldnt know what would make a good one, but i would prefer a cheaper gargantuan squigoth, so its easier to fit in a battleforce...and give it a rule that makes all squigoths in your army feerless while its alive.

just bouncing ideas off the wall, what do guys think?

The IA8 version of the Squigoth is perfectly fine. 50 points for a transport, that can bite. All ok.
On the Gargantuan .... well the rules are cool as they are, just make it 100 points cheaper and everything is ok.
Maybe D6 HoW ?
I use the Gargantuan a lot in friendly games. It is real fun for both players because it is NOT overpowered.

unfortunately that version is invalid as their is a newer one in imperial armour apocalypse (2013), yeah sure you can bring the 50pt one to friendly games, but what about tournaments, they require the most up to date rules for models...the newer one costs 180pts.

im with the whole idea of cheaper squigoth, it works better with ork "strength in numbers"

If you want to win a tournament you wont bring orks anyway. Get a Eldar/Necron army for tournaments and stay with the orks for fun.

so far i only do one tournament a year (its a hobby based one where 1/3 the score is tournament result and the rest is sportmanship and painting and presentation), i bring orks becasue it the only army i have so far....and i do it to represent
