Picked up one of these and have been very happy with it for indoor use. Folds up into a very compact box (except for the hose), so is easy to store. Multiple vendors selling them from $70 - $80 with free shipping (to the US at least). I somehow got mine for $52 shipped, but the seller is now gone from ebay.

Suction seems adequate by itself although I am backing it into a built in, attic mounted squirrel cage blower that ducts from my workbench through the ceiling and then out through the roof.

Just got it, so I have no idea how long it will last, but the computer type exhaust fan is the only moving part so should be easy to replace if it ever fails

How small does it fold down?

Having trouble picturing that. But it does look very useful!

Have a look at the other pictures then - pictures 2 and 3 are of it packed up.

It is effectively 2 foot wide, 1 foot high, 6 inches deep

There is, however, a screw in collet on the back for the extraction hose - you'd need to leave that on, or mess with a screwdriver each time to pack it away. You also have a great length of hose to deal with, and that window nozzle (probably more useful for you people in colder climates)

Take a look at this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Master-Airbrush%C2%AE-Portable-Airbrush-Extension/dp/B00NLQ019A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453178158&sr=8-1&keywords=masters+airbrush+booth

It's exactly the same airbrush booth. The fourth picture on the left is the booth collapsed. Basically, just the metal part.

The hose/exhaust is optional, though really, it's not, because without it, what comes out the other end is still enough to leave a film of pigment But, you can exhaust it down into a cardbox or something -- because the paint pigments are heavy, it will all stay in the box. Then just change the box every now and then.

hahahahaha

I normally airbrush my terrain boards outside, especially the GW ones, because at 2' x 2', I there's just always going to be overspray. But in the winter, it's way too cold, plus, most of the time in Vancouver it rains So I do it in the garage.

Where do I exhaust to? The attic

*whistles innocently*

Great to hear. I got one for Christmas from my wife but haven't set it up yet.

I think I'll do that tonight.

Get your models on the table and looking good!

The folding design is quite ingenious. All of the front "booth" folds into the front and bottom of the plenum box. The center bottom pic in the amazon listing shows it folded up.

Just got mine at the weekend and really happy with it, quick to put up and down.

Ended up taping some of the Ikea LED strips to the outside of it to flood it with light, the UK one doesnt seem to come illuminated.

Nice and happy with it
