Subject: Space Marine Fellblade->Too Strong?

Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle

Hi everybody,
I'm a space marine veteran and a big fanatic of the fellblade. I've played once with it in a real battle, but my Opponent gave up in round 2 because of the fact that it was too strong. It was a 2500 point battle and we both had superheavy tanks, so there's nothing wrong with that. Any suggestions, I don't want to be a gamekiller with playing a fellblade. Is it too strong for a normal game?

Automatically Appended Next Post: For those who don't know: The Fellblade is F14 S13 R12 BS4. It has a Fellblade Cannon(Str10 Ap1 10"Blast Ordnance1 72"Range), a Thunderer Cannon(Str10 Ap3 7"Blast Ordnance1 24"Range), a Long Barreled Autocannon(Str7 Ap4 Heavy2 12"-72"Range), a Hull-Mounted Twin-Linked Heavy Bolter and two side sponsons, each with two sets of Twin-Linked heavy bolters.
You can swap out the Boltes with autocannons and give it pintle mounted heavy Boltes, but it's badass enough as it is

What was his superheavy? Once you hit 2000+ points, Lords of War like that become less of a problem. How about the rest of his army
Glancing at the Fellblade, it doesn't seem OP. Yeah, a bunch of guns, but compared to, say, an Overcompensation Suit, nothing too crazy.

What book is that with the rules? The Fellblade in its current incantation has no where near the guns that you're saying.

This. I have no idea what rules you're referring to. Are you sure they are official GW rules and not some fan-made version of the Fellblade? I don't think it even had official rules back in 2007, and those are certainly not the current rules even if they were official at some point years ago.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I'm not sure it has rules for 40k as I'm sure it's only intended for 30k.
If it does have 40k rules, you'll find them here
