I can't decide which terminators to get for my night lords, I'm thinking tartarus due to being able to sweeping advance, which seems more night lordsy, but the cataphractii do have that 4++ we all love!! Their going to be a deep striking squad with a heavy flamer and power fists. OR i could run them with a teminator consul in a spartan

It's an easy choice. Tartaros. Sweeping Advance and being able to shoot Overwatch or Run means they're more mobile in the army. Night Lords shouldn't be plodding along in something that slow unless you have some reason to want the Creeping Death to be a theme outside of Death Guard.

deep strike although I would still run Cata's. Theres too much firepower out there that you will need that 4+.We are one of the only couple chapters that get the option for deep strike so use it.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs
For the love of God, GW, get rid of reroll mechanics. ALL OF THEM! |

I haven't picked up my book in a while, but Tartaros Terminators get deepstrike? Remember, this isn't your father's 40k. Terminators don't automatically get deepstrike in 30k. The Imperial Fists can buy it for a squad and ICs in terminator armor. Are there other Rights of War I'm not thinking of?

Orbital assault gives terminator squads deep strike. I know because it's fun dropping 30 terminators on your buddy
