Hey everyone. I am considering getting a BaC box to start up my first 30k legion: RG. I would really like to make my company feel like a group of rag-tag survivors from the dropsite massacre. So my plan is to paint considerable dirt and grime and battle damage. However, I would also like to have a mix of scavenged weaponry and armor that the RG has taken from the battlefield while on the run.
Does anyone have suggestions on where to find decent alternative bolters? I am speficially looking for something similar to the phobos pattern, the umbra pattern, and/or the tigris pattern.

Look for the keywords "mixed" "random" "job lot" and the like in the space marines section of eBay. You might have to get a few bits and bobs you don't need, but might get something else to help your plan too.
If you were in the UK I might send you a few random bolters of different types, but the US is too far.

Forge world sells 10 packs of each of those. I would buy a pack of each and then mix and match.
For dirt and grime, check out Secret Weapon Miniature's weathering pigments.

Maximini also does some gun sets ,which while kind of petite compared to GW weapons could fit in with SM.

I don't have a problem with the GW and FW guns. I just don't want to pay the huge shipping costs from FW.  I've been scouring ebay for the past couple weeks, but I haven't found any good deals. The old school bolters are just so expensive.
Also, thank you for the other suggestions. I will definitely be checking out Anvil Industry, Kromlech, and Maximini.
