Hey people relatively new to age of sigmar and i really want to start reading the novels short stories and audio books and really get my teeth into the stories. Obviously the realmgate wars and black rift klaxus series ill read in order but can anyone put these in order which orser to read them please.

Warden of the everqueen
Black rift of klaxus series
Realmgate wars series
Call of archeon series (do i buy the 1 book or is it better to read each individual 8 part series)
Warhammer age of sigmar mighty battles, ghal maraz and balance of power
Gates of azyr
And finally audio books

Does it matter which order i read these???

Thank you for any help

Can't speak to order without checking, but if you're an e-booker the first 3 realm gate wars books are now available as a half-price bundle (£14.99 in UK). Got mine yesterday.

The order or release is actually good in this case since they are laying the new universe out for this game. As stated, there are some book deals. The audio drama series is really good! Gates of Azyr was the first BL piece and I would start there. The "series" collections came out broken up into shorts over several months so my group back home tells newcomers to just read those in one bunch if you have them all packaged together. But if you do, Realmgate Wars before Black Rift, since the bigger metaplot at this point is tied with the Realmgate Wars.
Hope you enjoy!

You won't go far wrong with this order;

Gates of Azyr
War Storm
Ghal Maraz
Call of Archaon (get the one book)
Wardens of the Everqueen

These books form the main storyline of AoS, while the others are kind of 'outside' it and can be read at any time and in any order.

Call of Archaon is probably my favorite book so far, it's still a lot of fight scenes but it has some interesting characters for sure. And I'm getting a bit fed up with Stormcast by now

Ooh Mat, you forgot the Hammers of Sigmar at no.3!

(Just noticed that, very helpfully, the BL book pics actually have numbered spines - with the Call of Archaon as book 4)

Call of Archaon is the one book that I hear consistently as one of the best, if not the best, for what it's worth.

Stupid question. What is an audio book? Is it like a movie without the visual or just someone reading the book? If someone just reading the book do they also have print versions of the audio books or are they separate stories?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

There are audio versions of the normal books which are simply someone reading the book. The audio dramas have more music, sound effects and actors.
