Interesting report. I know the Thunderstar type army exists, but I've yet to encounter one, so this is good to see. Not quite sure how to handle it in an ITC build format as an Eldar player.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Tear up TWC? I think you are flat-out wrong. TWC are too fast and by the time your fighters come on theres a good chance the TWC are in combat or have completely switched sides of the field. That unit is so big (33 models I believe) that if he wants to he can make it EXTREMELY difficult to land your flyer and get off a desirable shot. You are really overestimating the power of D-lite.

I thought Hemlock fighters can drop their SD while zooming. If I'm wrong forgive me.

The WolfStar army is extremely one dimensional even though it can Voltron. I felt like the eldar player threw the towel in very early.

It can but its only two 3" blasts plus it can shriek. They wouldn't do too much. Armies like that are the reason why battle bros should disappear IMHO.

Its an extreme army that has counters and can suffer from things going really wrong (stomps can really mess it up), I think getting rid of battle brothers because of TWC lists is pretty crazy.

Thanks for the intersting batrep! I've never seen those two hardcore builds in action but it looks a little boring I fear. Oh well, still good rep!

Yeah Thunderstar is a beast. So I ended up taking Thunderstar to LVO and I can say that D-Scythes in nerfed invis environment really hurt it. Also since you're eldar you can get a lot of MSU going on. Which means you can be in 15 spots at once on the board, while the Thunderstar can only be in one.

The reason why I called it early was because that particular Thunderstar I couldn't really do anything against. I could engage it in combat but with nerfed Invisibility and rerolls it wasn't going to be pretty. I said the same thing in the video, if those two things weren't nerfed I would have gone into melee with it. And I couldn't cast any psychic powers at it because of the Null Rod, which is what does most of the damage dealing for a council.

As I'm always looking for ways to get better do you have any suggestions of what to do versus this particular Thunderstar (null rod and grenade caddy inquisitors)?

Thanks! And yeah one big unit can be boring to play with or against.
