I wish the article didn't say "phases", which is a word used to describe the appearance of the moon. It's the moons position that is affecting rainfall.

My experience working in bars has shown me that the phases of the moon affects people an their moods, too. Full moon weekends were nutty.

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

Except repeated studies have found no correlation between lunar phases and behavioral effects.
