Hello folks! 2nd month into 2016!

What do you folks have on your plate this month? Continuing stuff? Starting stuff? Finishing stuff? Stuffed crust pizza? Stuffed peppers? Stuff that is actually aliens disguised as yogurt that people ate and then became possessed (like that one movie)?

On my menu this month:

- My entry for this. A display piece titled "We got 'em, boyz!" which is a Runtherd plus some gretchin.
- My monthly commitment for this. A Lord Commissar attached to a Bullgryn unit with a Chimera as transport.

Peace, Love, and Strength!

Continue learning to build and paint a bunch of Space Marines in different poses and different weapons.

I also just ordered a few Necron Warriors and Tyranid Termagants just to try and learn how to pain them, as well.

I thought maybe I could paint and base the whole Maelstrom's Edge Battle for Zycanthus box set but I think it's going to take me longer than anticipated, as I'm still learning. But that is my vow, to finish that. And then everything else on my backlog

As I've said in multiple other threads, my main goal for February is to completely do my Tau Stormsurge. Anything else is secondary. I might knock out a few Dark Angels tactical marines or something, but the big boy must take priority.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

I for one am looking forward to that Zerg, love that model!

Right now, I'm finishing up 8 gremlins (malifaux), then I'm going to bust out my box of Betrayal at Calth and see if I can complete it (We'll see!) And I need to start looking for a new terrain idea, I'm leaning toward starting work, other than on paper this is, on my marsh board. Oh yeah and, you know, the heavy infantry minis I have for Feb.'s painting contest!

1) I WILL have one lasrifle segment done by the end of the month
2) I WILL have 1 full 20-man tactical squad done by the end of the month
3) I WILL edge highlight all of my Auxilia tanks

Hopefully, homework permitting, I can be done with "3" and one step closer to "1" by the end of the night

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
