Great looking game happening last evening in the 'other room' at the club.

There's nothing quite get's the juices flowing as a great looking Colonial game.....

You can view more pics and read a bit about it on my Just Add Water blog here:

Here's a couple of taster pics:

I love the title: Clubbing it! You club kid you!

I love Colonials but I can't shake the feeling this game needed 100% more sand!

I too would have really liked to see these these pictures in an AAR of the game.

Except it doesn't really need more sand. There's plenty of land in Sudan that is hot but not exactly desert even away from the Nile.

It's the lighting in the club, very yellow, If you think that's bad (the boards look great and are sand coloured) you want to see how luminous it makes our green boards/mats look!!

And that's with the white balance set too!

Awesome. I never thought of Black Powder extending to the 1880s. Cool that it worked so well. Warlord says it's 1700-1900, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Don't know why I thought it was only really appropriate to earlier

I actually just got some 1880s Sudan figures. I decided to go with 54mm. I won't get the look of awesome ranked up 28mm figures in big regiments that you have though.

That's also an awesome set up to be able to leave the battle set up to come back to it next week. My big games will be in space rented each month.
