I played Dark Eldar for the first time the other day and on my first turn I roll the Slaanesh option on the warpstorm table and the Dark Prince gives me first blood.

This made me think that there must be some good stories of the dice giving us some nice fluffy results...

Please share.

Well, I have one farseer who just never suffers perils. Ever. Which is pretty fluffy considering they are described as the most stable psykers in the game.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

5 EMP Fire Warriors vs a 2 HP remaining Imperial Knight. Charge in and dealt 1 hull point and then 4 of the 5 Fire Warriors get chopped/stomped leaving a lone survivor who then passed his leadership 4 to stay locked in combat. Next round of combat the Knight missed 3 out of 4 melee swings with the one that connected rolling a 1 on the D table. The lone Fire Warrior makes his 5+ to hit with his EMP grenade, rolls a 6 to penetrate (for extra insult to injury) taking the Knight down. The Knight goes nuclear but with being in ruins the Fire Warrior took a wound but made his cover save to survive the blast. 4 Scions attempted to administer the Emperior's Justice to the lone Fire Warrior for destroying the Knight but he made 3 cover saves to survive and the game ended. He along with 2 other infantry models where the only survivors of that battle for the Tau.

That's some Shas'la T'au Kais kinda nonsense. XD I love when stuff like that happens in game.

Played a game of 30k Raven Guard vs 40k Daemonkin this week. We decided that to make the matchup work, the game would be set during the Scouring.

See then rolled for the mission from the HH1 book (I think?), and got Ambush for the deployment type (perfect for RG) and the Extermination mission (perfect for a game set in the Scouring).

During the game, the marines got butchered, but not after putting a significant dent in the Chaos army. Corax himself survived, and in perfect Corax style, he was launching extremely effective hit-and-run attracts the whole time, scoring enough VPs to eventually win the game.

I used to have a guard sergeant who was nicknamed "Lucky Ace" as he would survive every battle, passing his last man standing tests with flying colours whenever required. He never really killed much, but he always stuck around! The kind of lone guard heroics from the stories that so rarely end up happening on the table...

yesterday celestial.knights vs daemons. So my captaib was dueling a KoS well anyway. I charge a combat squad in and captain issues a challenge for the next 2 rounds the keeper and captain do nothing to each other until the captain blinds the keeper and the tactical marines hits it with 4 krak grenades wounds with 2 of them it fails 1 invun it fails its fnp then dies

My 1st game (a 500pt) match, most of one of my vet squads were almost wiped out holding a hill overlooking a river. Passed thier morale check, and the missile launcher HWT vet, took a one in a million krak missile shot at the players chaos warlord in the middle of the river, killed it. Emperor guided that missile man, it was beautiful.

I once used two Tervigons to spam gaunts in 5th edition.

The moment the first one took a wound, he stopped spawning gaunts on the next roll. The same happened with the second Tervigon.

Me and my opponent concluded that the wounding shot hit both of them in the nads.

My friend's Zombie Chaos Cultist champion managed to somehow kill a SM Chaplain by himself in a challenge. Roll on the Chaos Boon table annnnd.... 'Not worthy'.

A turn or two later the same zombie champion kills a scout sergeant in a challenge... and that time ends up with +1 toughness. The Chaos gods are indeed fickle...

I was once playing my buddies necrons with my black templars.

My emperors champion went to town on a triach stalker, single-handedly wrecking it. We visualized it as the EC hacking off the front legs so it fell off before stabbing the pilot through the face.

in the same game the EC and his crusader squad crushed a unit of wraiths - and when they finally made it to necron table edge. They used teleportation shenanigans and zipped off to my deployment zone haha
