The BB ones? No, that's Mark from FW. He had free reign. Did not want an army look. Wanted them to look like actual sport teams in an alt. fantasy world (which they confirmed this is).

What was WHQ:Silver Tower like by the way? They were doing demos weren't they?
Yes. Played it. Any specific questions?

I don't know, but, given its size, it may be high enough that it could be a tough choice to get the Knight, or to go a bit higher for a Warhound.

Ha. Brian's fried so yes or no answers would be better right now...
I enjoyed it. Each turn you roll your four dice and place them in the squares of your character card. You then use these against action costs to activate them. So moving is a 1+. An ability might need a 4+. At the end of the round any monsters then react according to a random table (per monster). Exploring brings up a new tile from the deck.
There's also an adventure book element. On the final card you read X paragraph from X page. The aim is to collect the eight secret pieces - each one in a separate realm with its own special rules. This is the campaign.
More to it than that but there's the basics.
I can see a lot of modern boardgame influence in it. Was super easy to pick up.
And I am in love with the little fish familar. She is a stunner.

Oh, each hero has four wounds. These are your dice slots. So when you take a wound a skull token goes on a square. So you're down to three dice. Then two. So you get considerably weaker each hit.

...Brian? I meant brain. Possibly called Brian, who knows.

Was the fest the first demo place for total war: Warhammer? If it was I was especially lucky getting to play it- it was full nearly every time I walked past it.
The worst thing is though, out of everything I got, I want to try out my new Emperors' Children dice the most

Now, that Culln Leviathan Dreadnought....
I swear to god it better ACTUALLY be Culln as Carb Culln has changed every time he has been in an Imperial Armour!
(First a Veteran Sgt in Siege of Vraks, Then a Captain in the Anphelion Project THEN Chapter Master in Badab War, he cant go any higher, so why not have the Chapter Master become a BADASS LEVIATHAN SIEGE DREADNOUGHT AS THE CHAPTER MASTER?!?!?)
Having a Standard Leviathan dreadnought in the Red Scorpions contradicts their Fluff, as they adhere to the Codex Astartes MORE than the Ultramarines
My brain is awash with info today, but what I recall is... The Hive Fleet gave Calln a right good kickin'. So they wired what was left of him into that dreadnaught. A new captain has stepped in for now (his model was shown)... As the 'Scorpions have full deployed at the old Forge World
I'm hoping by the fact that a Thanatar pic was shown in the new IA book that we'll be allowed to ally them into our 40K AdMech forces. Although I thought fluff had said that cybernetica units were verboten after the Heresy. Which is why the Kastelans are run by punch cards, as opposed to the Castellax which have a modicum of free will.
The Macrocarid is nice, too. It'll be interesting to see how many different weapons they produce for the kit as add-ons coz there are a ton of options in the army list entry.
Ok, not exactly much to show here except the poster below.
However talking to Andy Hoare, Mark Bedford and Chris Drew I can mention the following:
The game is set during the Horus Heresy in the spirit of the original Adeptus Titanicus.
It will begin with just Titans.
The scale will be 8mm - They decided on this scale after 3D printing a Marine, Dread, Leman Russ, Warlord and a Mastodon in three different scales. 8mm was deemed the best as you could see the details to the point of telling different armour marks apart but didn't make the Titans too big.
8mm will make a Warlord around 6" tall (that's what it looked like why Andy Hoare put his hands apart, don't blame me if the final model is smaller or larger...).
The models will be produced in resin by Forge World.
Typical force may be in the region of two Warlords, two Reavers and two-three Warhounds.
More Titan variants are possible.
Down the road infantry and tanks are to be introduced.
Other forces are also possible, this includes Xenos which can be introduced in a themed expansion, e.g. Adeptus Titanicus: Armageddon to bring in the Orks.
Currently the Titans are being 3D modelled by Chris Drew, the Warlord has been done as the 40k version was originally 3D modelled so it was a case of just scaling things down and getting it to work as a model which can be manufactured.
We may, may, get to see something at the Forge World Open Day...(may, depending on Tony Cottrell)
IME there's a fine line sometimes between 'horrific' and 'comic' and I'm not entirely sure those NL have quite found where that line is.
Giant bat wing helmets are quite a long way over that line though..

Only if they monkey with base sizes. 6mm isn't all that different to 8mm, especially with vehicles. You won't be able to use old and new (if it is ever released) stuff in the same formation/list but I for one will not be starting my Epic armies all over again.
As my Orks are all on round bases and my Marines are on rectangular bases its a fair bet that one of them will be invalid by the time that GW ever get round to releasing actual armies. As Epic models are effectively impossible to rebase I will probably just stick to Epic:A (which Is what I will probably be doing anyway )
