I don't think it's fair to debate this on an unrelated thread so I'll concede any points I may have raised and we can argue whether ally combinations improve the power level of a codex in another thread if one does pop up.

The long and the short of it is to take the scatterlasers and profit. No one should be shocked anymore when Eldar scatterlaser your list off the table.

That's why you don't play against those people. Shake their hand and move onto another player. That's what I would do.

At this point it's an experiment. Will they ever get bored?

I am a keen user of the scatbike spam but then again I'm usually playing very competitive games , but seriously how many people whack out the hyper powered Eldar list in casual games Martel/krodarklorr?

Eldar players usually are prepping for tourney, so always?

Really, and they never tone it down against BA and are always playing competitive games all the time? You've never played against Howling Banshee spam backed up by an Avatar or basic footdar lists?

I always thought a sensible player with a powerful dex would always tone it down if it was a casual game (or at least play casual games from time to time) eeesh didn't think I was in the minority there...that's genuinely quite sad

I haven't seen that list since 4th ed.

That's a shame, I played a BA list with a Death Company with Astarath, priest and libby vs the banshees and Avatar a few weeks back and it was a really fun game for both parties and I do hope you get to play against a non-WAAC Eldar player at some point, I assure you we are not all Gak-tards when it comes to friendly games

And this is why I want to mix my weapons. Keeps my competitive without being WAAC.

See, the thing is, I don't think it will be bringing down the list by much in terms of power. It'll be interesting to see them in action
