I had tons of fun painting this NW. I missed some flashing, still (Grrrr) and noticed I did the same on a bunch of other I put together and primed. I need to be more careful! I still have a lot to learn.

looks awesome man. if that's the gw base crackle paint thing. give it a good sealing coat or it all flakes away.

get some angry green glow on them eyes really tie the colours together

Nice work, I personally paint the rim of the base black, make the desert stuff stand out a bit more?

I've found the best paint for this effect is Moot Green followed by a glaze of Waywatcher Green

The metallic surfaces look a but bumpy, particularly on the forehead. You can minimize this by doing the following:
Use a spray-on primer if you aren't already.
Water down the metallic paints on your pallet before applying them. You only need to add a tiny bit of water on the end of your brush to mix into your paint, it should then glide onto the model nice and smooth. You know you've added too much water when you start seeing bubbles in the paint.
Give it a go, you're looking good
