I crack out my Renegades once more to take on a force of Knights supported by Militarum tempestus in a 1500 point game.

A Gatling Taurox Prime shouldn't be able to glance Hellhound side armor, I think you might have lost a Devil Dog for nothing!
Knights are pretty tough but I think the issue was you focused too much energy on them. Your army was very well equipped to kill the Scion force, not so much Knights. It might have been better to focus on removing everything but the Knights, then play towards VPs.
Cool report and nice to see Renegades in action.

Yeah, I could see that coming! It's one of the horrible things about Knights at the moment - you need to tool up your lists specifically to take them out. I don't think two Medusas and a Demolisher cannon will cut it!!
What else do you have access to? More defilers, mauler fiends, etc? Rapier Laser Destroyer batteries? Bane blade?

I got confused and thought it was av 10 on the side like a chimera. It was my fault for not checking properly. Over all though i made a few mistakes so i will have to learn for next time.

I think you should pick up/convert some rapier laser destroyers. They are almost aslways an MVP for my R&H. I bet they would have been a great asset against these knights.
