Wondering what the community thinks would make the best counts as army for my 30k Emperor's Children?

Right now I'm leaning towards a Space Wolves drop pod list since they can have 2 melta/plas/flamers in each 10 man squad, making my tactical support squads used more efficiently.

Thinking I'll use my Volkite as "grav guns" maybe.

Any other ideas?

Maybe use them as CSM? I know they don't have a good codex, but it would be fitting.

Plus, if you have any Kakophoni you could use them as Noise Marines.

Oh yeah I figure that is always an option, but i was looking for a loyalist equivalent too.

Can CSM take 2 special weapons per squad?

Basic CSM squads can, yes. Also, they don't have to have 10 men for the second special weapon.

Don't forget the sergeant's combi-weapon.

CSM is your best bet. You have your noise marines and your 20 man tac squads plus similarly armed vet squads. Plus a few relics if you use them. And best yet, no reason to buy those stupid dinobots.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs
For the love of God, GW, get rid of reroll mechanics. ALL OF THEM!

I was also hoping to use my sicarian as a relic sicarian in a SM force. Can CSM do that?

I don't think so but you can just proxy it as a vehicle of other sorts

EDIT: I'm wrong, see kronk's post

Yes. You need to buy Imperial Armour 13: War Machines of the Lost and the Damned

Yeah i came up with a pretty good counts as list.

-standard Blastmaster CSM setup using tactical squad marines and a Kokophoni marine in place of a blastmaster.

- CSM squad in rhino with 2 plasma guns from tactical support squads and 30k tactical squads

- Chosen with 4 special weapons makes good use of the rest of the tactical support squad marines

- use my Xiphon as a hellblade

- use the heavy support squad as 2 havoc squads with missiles or autocannons.

- use the sicarian from IA:13
