Subject: Help with Da Orks

I'm quite new to 40k and have chaos and ork armies but would like some help with enlarging my orks
I only have a small list containing AOBR and a squad of boys ,so what would the best thing to add be?
I would really like to have a more shooty based list

And I usually paint each part individually but it takes a long time
So is there any better way to do it?

yes there is a better way to do this. Do not buy any more boyz. Boyz are crap.
Get right to the good stuff.
LOOTA'S, TANK BUSTA's (and perhaps mek guns)
Those are the things you would like to add if you want to go shooty.
You might also want some looted or battle wagons as cheap mobile bunkers and a few plastic deffkopta's to score some objectives.

never go kommando go tank busta instead.They are just better in almost every way. Just the Melta bomb alone makes them worth it.

Tankbustas are solidly better than kommandoes at this point, I agree. I actually use my Kommando minis as bustas since they've got dynamite and stuff.
Meganobz are also quite solid right out of the box. Just stick em in a truck and they're good to go

tank bustas are good, mek guns are amazing (try to kitbash, or else they will get REALLY expensive) looters are also great if you make sure they have a good vantage point.

Tankbustas because every model in the unit packing melta bombs is always good.
Manz missiles is fantastic (meganob squad in a trukk with ram and planks), Bullyboyz formation in trukks is even better.
Solo deffkoptas with twin linked rokkit launchas get lots of mileage.
Grots are an extremely point efficient way to hold back field objectives freeing up points to field more boyz or toyz, a large squad makes a great cover screen for footslogging armies.
Mekgunz are great artillery but not all. Kannons, lobbas, kustom mega kannons, and Traktor Kannons are the noteworthy ones. Each battery can have up to 5 gunz and they don't necessarily need to be the same.
Lootas are the most point efficient str 7 shooting with up to 15 models in a unit each holding their own deffgun. They can devastate troops and light vehicles all within an impressive range.
Pain Boyz are an excellent and cheap non warlord hq to use for giving entire units fnp but still keep a warboss in there so you can Waaaaagh!

While boyz tend to be rubish, don't let that keep you from buying them 2nd hand. They are great for conversion since a boy with a few bits is easily a tankbusts or loota. While nobz are rubish as well, they make great conversion work as well, becoming easily every hq available.
Dont get hooked on the best ork units, part of the fun of orks is the theme you choose, and if the best ork units fit that theme then all the better. So choose a theme (or multiple themes for a well rounded waaaagh).
Use your orks to really flex you conversion muscles.

More DAKKA!!! is always a good thing
Don't forget the bikes which are kinda dakka-tastic. And I love the Looted wagons with Killkannons as well: 67 points for a S7 AP3 5"blast is not bad at all.
