Nearly 8000 points of marines although roughly a 1000 points worth yet to be painted.

That doesn't give us a very good idea of what you have since 6 models or 10 models is the same PL

15k Sisters and probably 5kish marines. Plus 2k of Knights and about 750 of Custodes.

Oh I'm a little afraid to even try to make a guess, I've been playing for 20 years and have built up a lot of points. My total points for my main three armies which include Imperial Fists, Imperial Guard and Tyranids probably surpasses 20k. Then I have at least 2k of Dark Eldar and Tau plus 3k for Grey Knights and three other Marine chapters ranging from 1500 to 2-3k. If I had to make a wild guess I'd just have to go on a whim and stick to the theme of the game and say I have 40k points.

I just counted only the Blood Angels HQ: 43 Units with 4.900 Points.
Add the rest and I have easily more than 20.000 Firstborns.

Plus Knights, SoB, Custodes and Space Wolves with each around 3.5 K and an even bigger Army of T'au.
Smallest Army should be CSM ~ 2K.
Don't know the Points of my Guard. Maybe 4K plus Baneblade?
If you want you could add my 200+ models "army" of Necromunda-Gangs.

I play on TTS (back in college I played with circles cut out of index cards)

That said, I've been learning blender so I can customize my TTS models. I've been gradually recoloring and rebasing all of the models to fit the fluff of my IG army. Once that's done I might try my hand at custom painting the model (although I might try to get a drawing tablet first).

I honestly have no clue. I have way too much guard and dark eldar ready to go. Add to that a whole bunch of space marines and assorted other models and I really wouldn't know or even want to know.

Amongst some of the most prolific posters here I've probably got very little.
Last I checked I had about 4k of Marines, I've got about 1.5k of Tau, another 2k of 30k Marines if that counts.

Most of my hobby resources have gone into other games. I've got 4 shelves piled high with games, not including those under my bed, 40k is just one of those shelves.

All of these are conservative estimates as I am like many people on here, lots of stuff still in boxes:

20K Space Marines
1.5K Imperial Guard
5K Eldar
5K Tau
1K Nids
4K Orks

I need to add some more vehicles to the Space Marines and some more elites and auxiliaries so that will go up. Same with Eldar and Tau. I need more of a base force in IG and Nids. I am not fond of the new Orks so my base may just stick to this unless I get more of the older set, but I need more elites and other auxiliaries.

Easily in excess of 20K...just don't ask how much is assembled and painted : )

I'm probably at 10k of Salamanders, 3k Admech/Knights, 2k pure Flawless Host, 1500 Traitor Guard, 1k Bloody Rose, 500 Ynarri & a metric crapton of Necromunda.


Haven't played a game with my Metallica in 9th and probably not going to. I've never played Ynarri, pure Traitor Guard or Bloody Rose.

I'll echo what others have said, the GAME is the thing I like least about 40k and do want it to not suck. I'm just thru with GW dictating how I interact with the Game.

So 22 Baneblades at appx 550 each (it varies but I don't want to do the real math) is about 12100, plus the support company or Trojans and the regimental commander and her stuff and all that is probably 13k.

My daemons probably about 6k - lemme do the math here.
6 keepers at 230 each, 3 soul grinders at 175(?), Zarakynel at 450, 90 Daemonettes at 7 each, 2 Heralds at I think 60 each, the Masque at 60ish, sylleske 210, mirror 210, DP 170. Roughly 3750.

Armageddon Steel Legion 2500ish (2000+hw platoon with chimeras)

Vostroyans 2kish (haven't revisited since the points update)

And yea, wanted to make an entire Regiment of Imperial Guard back in the day. Ironically enough, the Baneblade chassis vehicles were the easiest way to do it, because you only need 3 for a company.

So 7 companies of 3, plus one command vehicle. It's actually organized as

Regimental Command
- Banehammer
- Regimental CO and staff (XO, scribes, astropath, primaris, lord commissar, servitors, techpriest/admech liason, etc)

1st Company (Line)
3 Baneblades (2 plastic, 1 Mars pattern)

2nd Company (Assault)
3 Hellhammers (plastic)

3rd Company (Line)
3 Baneblades (1 mars again)

4th Company (Assault)
3 Stormswords (plastic)

5th Company (Breakthrough)
3 Stormhammers (the resin ones, sadly legends now)

6th Company (Tank Destruction)
3 Shadowswords (Arkurion ones; resin with targeters instead of lascannons... also not a real option anymore I think)

7th Company (Transport)
3 Banehammers

8th Company (Support and Attachments)
- 3 Hydras and a "radar vehicle" (counts as Salamander Command Vehicle) attached from an air defense regiment (I usually run these as Cadian, so a different regiment from the 2nd Concordian).
- 3 Trojans to support the Baneblades
- 3 Atlases for tank recovery (all 3 tow one baneblade, so here's hoping there's not too many losses that need rapid recovery!)
- Command Chimera for the company commander and his staff.

The regiment is the iron core of my battlegroup, Battlegroup Infernus, that includes elements of other regiments (also in my post - armageddon steel legion and vostroyans predominantly).

Anyways, there's tons of fluff available if you're interested.

I haven't tried o total up any of my armies since 7th edition. My Orks were over 20K in old points. Not going to bother figuring it out again.

My IG +support is around 3K currently

My Primaris BA's might be between 2500 nd 3500, neve made a master list but I have two of almost every unit choice available.

If my 30K First legion counts I have over 5K.
Hope to add a bit more to that and my IG but no plans to add to the other two armies as I am actually thinking about how to sell most of those Orks and BA's. I'd like to keep 2000 points of both of those but build in 4 blocks of 500 points or something like that and rid myself of the rest.

They don't really fit on one table and I rarely get them all out! However, I have some old pics from earlier stages of the Regiment. There's also some newer pics but not of the whole thing in one place - here's a few (spoilered for size). NOTE: Please forgive my painting. These represent years of work, and I've learned lots as we go. Some of these are old pictures, though - of bad paints and work (e.g. undrilled barrels). So have mercy!


This is an earlier iteration of the regiment at 6 companies. At the time, the last two companies were still in progress, so the 6th is a mix - one Banehammer and two Valdors. Originally, I was making it 30k and 40k compatible, so Valdors made sense for the anti-tank company, but as the regiment evolved into a 40k regiment (which is less "combined" in the fluff than the old Solar Auxilia) I ended up making a Shadowsword company and a Banehammer company (so 3 shadowswords and 2 Banehammers more than depicted, while losing the Valdors). The support company has also changed since then.


This is the converted deck of the regimental Command Tank. It used to be called Rodina, but in light of recent events in Ukraine I am planning to rename her. You can see Katerina Malinenko in her white field jacket, but I've since updated her model with better, so hold on!

Updated Katerina Malinenko model. I based her with a metal base so instead of getting 2 models (one for the tank, one to disembark) I could slot in this model and have it look halfway okay. Yes, I know I paint badly ....

My signature says how much I have but off the top of my head ~10k Space Wolves, ~6.5k Tyranids, ~4k Sisters and ~3.5k Guard. Plus a few hundred points of Inquisition/Assassinorum stuff.
