I don't have the main rulebook for Warhammer.. just an army book I bought for $15 from a flea market. It's the Chaos Daemons rulebook.
I don't understand why most of my army has a "-" listed as their Save? Some say 3+ others 5+ .. but the vast majority is "-" what does this mean?
I've been trying to watch games on Vassal but don't really understand what is going on.

If the Armour Save (or what ever save you're looking at) has a dash instead of a an actual value (like 3+), then it means they don't have that type of save. I'll have to look in the rule book to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure it's the case.

Oh, that's a bummer. :( So most of my army just dies when they get shot? I thought I saw someone on Vassal playing Chaos Daemons and they were rolling against damage.. but I can't be 100% sure. I've looked at every page of my army book and can't seem to find out why most lack any saves at all.
