So the following conflict came up the other day.

I was using an Eldar Lynx and it uses a huge apocalyptic template when it fire the sonic lance.

The question is the following. When you hit a squad and you can cover with the flamer template 10 models but you only have LOS to 7 of them, how many you can wound and how many you can remove as a casualty?

My guess is that you roll to wound against 10 of them but you can only remove 7 of them but I need your opinion.

You have it right. Template weapons follows the normal wound allocation rules for shooting in that you can only allocate wounds to models in LoS.

This includes torrent weapons?

Yup. You can place the template further out, but you still can only allocate the wounds themselves to units in LOS.
