Humble Bundle sells digital products (games, books etc) for 'what you want to pay' and splits the money among Humble Bundle, the publisher and a charity.

This week's offer is Pathfinder.

The Humble RPG Book Bundle: Pathfinder

RPG campaigns and rulebooks come to Humble! We've teamed up with our friends at Paizo to launch our first ever RPG Book Bundle, so grab your dice and put some mood music on the stereo 'cause it's time to play Pathfinder! If you want to learn how to play or see the game in action, check out these videos by Saving Throw.

Pay $1 or more for Pathfinder Roleplaying Game GM Screen, Player Character Folio, Digital Beginner Box, GameMastery Guide, Core Rulebook, Advanced Class Guide, and Pathfinder Adventure Path: In Hell's Bright Shadow (Hell’s Rebels 1 of 6).

Pay more than the average price to also receive, Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Player's Guide, Ultimate Equipment, Bestiary, Strategy Guide, Pathfinder Adventure Path: Turn of the Torrent (Hell’s Rebels 2 of 6), Pathfinder Society Scenario 7-01: Between the Lines, and Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea World Guide.

Pay $15 or more for all of the above plus Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Campaign, Ultimate Combat, Game Bestiary 2, Pathfinder Adventure Path: Dance of the Damned (Hell’s Rebels 3 of 6), Pathfinder Society: Year of the Sky Key Scenario Mega-Pack (23 Adventures!), and Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Poster Map Folio.

That's not all! Anyone who pays $25 or more gets the entire bundle plus the physical edition of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beginner Box (price does not include shipping).

Pay what you want. Together, these books cost as much as $354. Here at Humble Bundle, though, you choose the price!

Read them anywhere. These game and sourcebooks are available as watermarked PDF files via Paizo. After purchasing the bundle, you will receive a redemption code to be redeemed on www.paizo.com where you can download each PDF. Instructions and a list of recommended reading programs can be found here.

Support charity. Choose where the money goes -- between Paizo, Extra Life (Children's Miracle Network Hospitals), and, if you'd like, a second charity of your choice via the PayPal Giving Fund. For details on how this works, click here. If you like this bundle or like what we do, you can leave us a Humble Tip too.

Am I correct in thinking the $1 stuff is already available for free in their version of the SRD?

Most, yes.

All?

No.

GM Screen, Character Folio, and Hell's Bright Shadow are not in the PfSRD.

Ends March 9th. Paizo's site is slow / failing to provide downloads, so you have lots of time to part with your dollar.

The PRD is core rules, not a lot of the world stuff. So the adventures/scenarios, and things like the inner sea world guide aren’t there. Also, it’s just text. These (if I’m reading it right) are the full digital PDFs, so would include all the illustrations. For things like the bestiaries, that’s a nice thing to have.

I already own physical copies of a lot of this stuff, but PDFs are very nice to have. And on Humble Bundle, the price is good...

I guess a digital DM's screen is mainly to print out yourself?

I have all of the books available in hardcover, but the scenarios interest me. Generally dislike digital though.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

3.5 D&D hammered the love of digital into me. Most characters required multiple books, and if you are in a group with multiple GMs running different campaigns, sometimes the pile of stuff that needs to be dragged out to game nights gets excessive. Digital copies let me keep most of it on my iPad, or just print out the few pages I needed, rather then lug a whole book out.

Now with most of the rules for pathfinder on the PRD, there is a lot less of this. But if I want to take a feat out of a splat book, I like to have the book on hand. It’s also nice if I want to reference some world background stuff.

Right now I’m debating if I want to go up to the $25 level for the physical copy of the beginner’s box. S&H not included, so that’s going to be another $10 or so. But it comes with pawns for characters/monsters, and a flip mat. Seeing that the average price was a bit over $17 last I looked, It seems to be a nice bit of added value.

In my case the fates conspired - in my favor, this time.

My good lady and I had just broken down and bought the $50 Kindle Fire last week... and the PDFs work fine on those Fires....

Even adding in the price of the Fire, this is a good deal....

The Auld Grump - because timing is the heart of comedy....

You can get the Beginner's Box on Amazon for under $24, with free shipping at $35.

Site's still overloaded and I can't get my downloads. Grr.

Get the free Horror at Dagger Rock W0 (or whatever it's called) and the Goblins Free RPG Day PDFs. Great scenarios!

But without the 80+ PDFs that come with buying it on Humble Bundle....

I think that there are now three We Be Goblins scenarios... which are great....

If you want to play psychopathic little murdering monsters! (But, really, who doesn't? - the scenarios are great fun, just don't get too attached to yer goblins.

46,000 pledges so far, with a week to go....

I picked up the PDFs, got my codes, and registered them at Paizo, but didn’t attempt to download any. Not in a huge rush, I figured I wait for the smoke to clear a little.

Doubt I'll end up snagging this (PF isn't my cup of Murder Hobo Tea), but I passed it onto my friends that do play. Thanks for the heads up!
