I was a looking at it and it seems like an inexpensive (point wise) way to get some S9 shots with a T7 model (if they all hit) for 30 points. I could use divination on farseers also. I don't really like the other guns as barrage seems to miss a lot.
Opinions?

If you have no use for the shadow weaver and don't want to spend points on the D-cannon they seem decent enough but with guide or divination otherwise most likely you are only going to have two shots at strength 8

You can take both divination and eldar primaris powers so your Farseer can reroll to hit two units in your army per turn and the battery grants the Farseer toughness 7

That would work! Don't you not get the primiras power unless all of your powers come from that discipline? Would you say the other Weapons are better options then?

You only get the Primaris power for free if all your powers come from the same discipline, but you can still exchange whatever you rolled for the Primaris (just like in 6e) if you roll on multiple disciplines.

I think they are not bad actually. Potentially a really tough 30 point laz cannon model.

If you take them in the guardian formation you can get preferred enemy on them which increases your chances of hitting with all 3. Personally i prefer the shadow weaver over it because it's so much more reliable BUT adding more str6 firepower just doesn't seem to make sense with eldar.

Another issue I have with the virbos is I'd much rather have 3 WW with bright lance as they are mobile(battle focus shenanigans) and when you guide them they destroy almost any vehicle in the game short of a titan.

Be careful with this tactic because you only get Preferred Enemy is the TARGET is within 12" of a Guardian unit, not if the Weapon Battery/WW/Vyper unit is within 12". Basically the fullf is "Oh crap, protect the Guardians who got too close for some reason!"

I too have debated the Vibrocannon, but having to dedicate a Farseer to insure you get lascannon shots instead of missile launcher shots makes them unappealing

It's funny because it ends up being the reverse. Me dropping gardians right next to the enemy from my serpent so I can get PE on that titan. HAHA.
