So I think the herald of tzeentch on the chariot is my current favorite plastic kit hands down and It has made me want to make an army to go with it. The new formations ironically timed out right as I was painting it which had a formation that consists of 9 units of screamers or flaming chariots

My question is, with this formation how would you divide up your 9 units? My immediate idea is to heavily favor chariots and a few screemers followed by a CAD of a daemon prince, pink horrors and some flamers in order to have all the units included. I have also pondered 9 chariots

Any feedback would be nice

How many points are you looking to build for your list?

Burning Skyhost, Screamer and Chariot formation, doesn't seem the best rules wise.

I would suggest trying/proxying the army first. I've got a Incursion/CAD list that runs Warpflame Host with 5 Exalted Flamers (Conversion will be cheapest here), 3x 3 Flamers, and a 11 Pink Horror Squad. With Fateweaver and Lord of Change. Furies as the tax.

CAD I run 2 Tzeentch Heralds and 2 more squads of Horrors. Lord of Change is my Warlord and a Tzeentch Herald has a Endless Grimiore. So Fateweaver and LoC can fly around and summon Burning Chariots.

I'd run it as a summoning/shooty army when needed. This might be a fluffy/not terrible list that still uses Burning Chariots. And, if you like the who Tzeentch aspect, Summoning other faction daemons can be fluffy. Think of it as Tzeentch decided to pull those Fleshhound from Khrone and nonchalantly place them next to those Marines to see what would happen.

With that said, I still like the idea of a army full of turbo-boosting, flat-out moving models that hurt things they fly over. And if you go the Burning Skyhost route, let me know how it goes. I would probably do 8 Burning Chariots, 1x 9 Screamers. Then depending on points, try for 2 Pink Horrors and more Tzeentch Heralds to make Screamerstar. If you have the points Balekor.

Hope that helps some. I'm not a competitive gamer, but that just seems to get a fluffy Tzeentch list working. Good luck with the list building, and let me know how it goes.

yeh i know its not a great formation tbh but its about choosing the lesser of 2 evils. I think what you are suggesting is the best option and was something along the lines of what I was going to do. Man i wish daemonkin tzeentch was out :(. I wana combine some thousand sons.

I actually really dislike summoning lol. Really i dislike painting tons of stuff since I already take FOREVER to paint as it is but I do know it would help make my army "not as bad". I may have to just ignore these formations all together
