Timeline
Spoiler:
Early M33- First worlds discovered by Rogue Trader Hines Darius, the Imperium quickly realizes the mineral rich worlds and sends colony ships out with support from Mars and the Imperial Guard.
654.M33-With swaths of Irmo now colonized outward from Warp point Bushriva the Imperium settles on the Hive world Epona as the Capital of Irmo Sector.
978.M33-Dark Eldar raids cripple trade amongst the Sector and slow expansion. The governors of the planets call for a Battlefleet to assembled, Mars responds with building the port of a Charlsifort outside the warp jump.
258.M35-Frontier Expansion-Sector Governor Cillis calls for the Expansion of the Irmo Sector into areas which the Astronomican can reach. Believing if the planets were settled, the Emperor would shine his light on them.
303.M35-The first worlds outside of the Astronomican are reached and settled by the forces of the Irmo sector. The Holy Emperor’s light extends outwards to the first of the newly settled worlds.
360.M35-The Reign of Blood through the Jericho system pulls billions of Imperial Guard away from the Irmo Sector. Leaving the newly founded planets undermanned, the Dark Eldar of the area seize this opportunity and quickly make slaves of the planets. No planets are left of the newly formed colonies, much to the dismay of the Governors and citizens.
890.M35-Age of Blindness-Warp storms through the sector leave the Bushriva Warp unusable. Though the Sector cannot see the Emperor’s light they never lose faith. Planets band together to help protect each other and care for each other as they believe the Emperor would for them. Planetary Governors use their troops and resources to build mighty fortresses and defenses for they do not know when the Emperor will return or what horrors face them.
051.M36-Chaos Strikes- A city on the distant world of Clemsion turns to Chaos and quickly tries to gain control of the major cities. Half the world turns against the Irmo sector before forces are assembled. Within a year the Chaos taint is put down and garrisons are upped on the distant worlds.
151.M36- The citizens again wish to bring the Holy Light of the Emperor’s ways to the planets on the fringe, and set their own Crusade outward to bring these worlds back into the fold. Colony ships find the remains of past attempts and resound to not let past failures deter them. These planets grow over time and contribute to the overall prosperity of the Irmo Sector.
300.M36- Holy Light Shines-The Bushriva warp jump opens up to the Sector again. The Imperium, sure the sector has been lost through the years sends scouts into the area to determine what has happened. First contact is greeted with open arms and the sector happily welcomes the Emperor.
310.M36- Terra learns of Clemsion’s turn to Chaos and quickly sends Inquisitors to the area to investigate. They find no taint left on the planet but many on the planet know of the history and the shame. The Inquisition fears the Chaos taint runs deeper than they can find and declares the planet Exterminatus against the urging of all planetary Governors. This is the first sign the Irmo sector fears Terra has become corrupt.
345.M36- Defense of Angels-Terra fears more of the planets of Irmo may harbor Chaos and declares the newly founded Astartes Chapter Wolverines Valiant the new guardians and watchers of the Irmo Sector. The Wolverines are given full recruiting rights to the sector. Irmo welcomes the Angels of Death, believing nothing gets them closer to their God than his blood children.
364.M36- The Wolverines Valiant divide Irmo into subsectors for easier defense and organization. The first subsector Dominusis, including Bushriva and starport Charlsifort, is the most wealthy due being some of the first planets colonized and location to the Warp jump. The Capital of Epona resides in the center sector Sanada, majority hive worlds and military forgeworlds reside within this sector. The last sector includes the planets farthest away and still expanding, subsector Arcadus.
380.M36- Biel-Tan- First contact with the Biel-Tan craftworld. Sending out exploratory fleets, the Irmo Battlegroup loses contact with any scout craft sent Westward. Any communication sent back tells tales of fast ships who materialize in and out of the warp. No communication can be sent to the Xenos and further attempts to colonize Westward are put on hold.
750.M37- Years of tithes and resources pulled across the galaxy weigh heavily on the Irmo Sector, taking the Wolverines Valiant with them through the campaigns. It does not go unnoticed amongst the citizens the waste of lives that Terra uses its people. Murmurs of discontent are raised amongst its people and some say amongst its guardians the Wolverines Valiant about the waste of lives.
750.M37- Outsider-For the first time since its settling, a Lord Governor is appointed to Irmo who had not been raised within its sector. Terra believing a stronger fist was needed to help the Wolverines Valiant rule the sector. Many are appalled by this but believe in the Emperors Holy Light.
800.M38- Billions of guardsmen and untold masses of resources are gathered away from the Irmo sector to help fight the 7th Black Crusade. 4 Companies of the Wolverines Valiant go in support. The Wolverines Valiant witness firsthand how Imperial commanders view guardsmen lives with impunity, as millions of lives are wasted as bait, in attempt to bring Abaddon to battle.
830.M38- Waste-The frontier world of Sorta 4 is assailed by a splinter fleet of Tyranids. Irmo rallies its troops and Navy to defend the world, only to have the Lord Governor send only guard ground forces to draw in more Tyranids before declaring Exterminatus. Extinguishing the lives of 10 million guardsmen in a single blow and wiping the Tyranid threat.
835.M38-Saint Andrus arrives- With growing unrest through the sector a calming voice is heard. A local priest rises above the noise and discontent to bring the light of the Emperor fully to the Irmo sector. Priest Andrus unifies the Irmo Sector and helps strike out into the frontier land to help share the Emperors glory. Billions flock to his message and peace is restored in the Sector.
875.M38- Priest Andrus dies of old age while on the frontier rim of the sector. The planet is built into a Shrine World for the Saint of Andrus. Millions make pilgrimage to this world yearly.
M39- The news of the Tau expansions continue to upset Irmo citizens, how Terra can let the Emperors Holy Light be extinguished by such inferior forces cannot be fathomed so far away from the front lines.
890.M40- Chapter Master Harbo-The first Chapter Master raised through the Irmo Sector is raised to status. Chapter Master Harbo declares Anarbor to be the new home of the Wolverines Valiant. He takes to creating a massive monastery within its mountains. He teaches the locals the ways of Doran and how to properly defend for sieges. An era of prosperity ensues during his first years as Chapter Master.
987.M40- Saint Andrus Lost-Chaos forces of Khorne materialize through the warp and set after the shrine world of Saint Andrus. The forces of Irmo rally to defend their sacred Saint but through a clerical error are given orders to suppress a rebellion in the Ultima Segmentum. The Lord Governor obeys the order and sends his troops away from the Frontier and Shrine World. The forces of the Wolverines Valiant attempt to stop the deamons but are unsuccessful without their Imperial Guard forces. Saint Andrus body is recovered in time before the world is pulled into the warp, forever lost. The daemons go on to destroy a few worlds before returning to the Warp.
987.M40-Visions-Throughout the sector lowly citizens to high ranking officials have visions of Saint Andrus in their dreams. He tells them of the corruption of Terra and the misuse of the Emperors voice. He believes their God is being misused by men and Terra has been corrupted. He urges all to spread the word of the Emperor as the God intended, to look out for the welfare of it citizens and to help the poor.
988.M40-Rebellion- Governors across all planets are urged to gather and discuss the failure of the appointed Lord Governor. Chapter Master Harbo also attends the meeting with Inquisitor Akil. Lord Governor Phillipus declares that all lives belong to the Emperor and the governors are out of line for demanding they have a say in how lives are used. The governors accuse Phillipus of not understanding the needs of Irmo. Phillipus calls them all traitors including Harbo. Harbo crushes the Lord Governors skull with his bare fist and has all those who stay loyal to Phillipus put to the sword. The council sets in motion plans to free other planets of the corruption of Terra and the misuse of the Emperors power.
990.M40- The Wolverines Valiant send their 5th company to battle only to report the company lost in the warp. In reality they sent half of the company to the frontier worlds to recruit and bolster their forces beyond codex adherence, much like the Black Templar. The other half was sent to the Dominisus sector to help bolster the defenses of its front worlds. Word is sent to the Wolverines allies, the Doom Fists and Fire Wardens about the state of their Sector.
300.M41- The turn of the century marks the kick off point for the Irmo Sector. All communication to Terra is cut off and only those who adopt the Irmo belief are allowed access through the warp jump. Rouge Traders report back to Terra the way they are being forced away from the sector. Only the word of the Wolverines Valiant stops any forces from probing into the Sector.
350.M41- Terra finally realizes no material or men are coming from the Irmo sector and sends forces of Blood Angles through Bushriva to investigate. When no response is given from the world of Makara, the Blood Angels deploy to the city of Concord. Here they are assailed by the local PDF as invaders, they raise the city to the ground and report to Terra that all is not what it seems. The sector may have turned from the light. The Blood Angels are the first to learn of the Star Confederation.

I'm curious, is this kind of like the Crusade of Fury? If so color me interested

mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.
In a sense yes it's like that crusade but this one allows "loyal" forces to join and fight against a corrupt and bloated terra. So gives more room to put your guardsmen against space marines and they aren't cultists. Also I won't be running much other than asking if people want to add some to fluff. I'm using this more for a table, top, setting and writing piece but would love if others wrote pieces on how this fan fiction joined in at any point in time line.
Then in that case I'd like to bring in a force. Don't know if they'll be loyalist or rebels yet. Although I'm leaning more towards bringing in my Ultramarines or some Eldar, who would be fighting alongside the Confederation for their own reasons...

Yeah, I don't think this has to do with the other Crusades. As Rob stated, this is more for Tabletop than for an intense RPG. Although this is quite intense

Ok some clarity, right now I am not making this a Crusade of Fury. That spiraled into wierdness/crusade of love and was waaayyyy to hard to keep up with.
If you would like to introduce commanders, troops, forces please do. Its a massive campaign on the scale of the Sabbat World so almost any forces can join. Just make sure you read the background. It wont make a ton of sense for your Ultramarines to randomly appear in the middle of the sector or even the edge if they arent part of the Star Confederation.
This runs the same as the GW timeline, if something doesnt make sense i need to change it.
Please keep it on task and worthwhile with posting. If you are writing to contribute, awesome. If you are writing to giggle at other posts, not so much. Make your fluff into the timeline, i spent a decent amount of time on the background.
I will be writing more background for my forces as the weekend comes in.
