OK, I have it narrowed to 2 lists I want to take to the tournament this week but cant decide whats better
List 1
Han Solo w/VI, C3-PO, R2-D2, Falcon Title
Wild Space Fringer w/Outrider, HLC, Recon Spec
I have flown this list before and placed in 2 tournament, winning 1 of them so I am familiar and most experienced with this list
List 2
Gold Squad Y-wing with R2 astromech, TLT (x2)
Corran Horn w/R2-D2, FCS, Engine Upgrade, PTL

I would suggest dropping the VI off of Han, as it doesn't do much more than let you shoot first. Instead I would say grab crack shot, to help you finish off your target.

VI on Han makes sure I shoot before most of the other Aces, including before a VI Whisper can recloak.

Doesn't really matter. Han is bulky enough to take a simultaneous attack, and will shoot before Whisper recloaks if you have the initiative anyways.

Any player that knows what they're doing with Whisper will always have the initiative for that reason.

Both lists are basically fine.
There's no particular reason to take VI on Han unless you're also taking an Engine Upgrade. When it comes to shooting, VI only specifically counters Whisper. Crack Shot would probably do more for you. I think you might do better with Chewbacca and Gunner instead of Han and R2-D2.
