annnnnnnd there gone Automatically Appended Next Post: I personally almost bought a whole bunch of junk I don't need for Infinity but resisted. It's nice Infinity almost always goes on clearance sales despite being such a popular game.

My pile of unbuilt Infinity is already out of control, so I just stocked up on a ton of the Game Plus foam and another bag. Once I found out the trays store perfectly in short comic book boxes, I've been moving away from KR and Battlefoam.

So you can recommend the bag? I'm looking to replace an old Sabol Army Transport bag, and those bags in the Spring sale look pretty good.

The bags are great. You can fit in 18.25" of foam, build quality seems pretty good and plenty of external storage for rulebooks, tokens, etc.

Dang forgot about those bags.
Is it reinforced fabric sides?
like the BF sword bag?
or just like the sabol with no support?

Not reinforced, but the trays have a 1/4" hard-ish rubber bottom, so when it's full, they provide a fair bit of impact resistance.

That's what I meant. When the bag is full, the rubber plates won't flex, so the bag doesn't deform. Rather than the bag providing the rigidity, the foam trays do.

Yeah i understand. still the same reason i dont use sabol bags since its the same using the foam to keep it ridgid. i had a bag in my trunk roll over and stuff land on top. it crushed my models from the side since the fabric gave way.
its the only reason i like BF as they have cardboard reinforcement to distribute the hit.

I had it for over a year with a hair to much foam (1.5 rather than a 1) and other then the zipper being tight do to overloading the only model damage I had is finecast fateweaver drooping though that maybe do to black bag in the car than the stuffing. I really like it for non foot troops. The GW ones are my favorite for foot troops and KR for the big stuff like IK, storm raven, and super heavy tanks

I think those bags are empty so no foam. (Cursory glance)
However you could pick up sabol FOAM which is the exact same size but you can find them for cheaper usually im sure KR and all the other foam people also make the 13x7.5 inch foam trays too.

I grabbed myself a cheap Goro and Wyrm Claw warband for SDE, pretty happy about that. However, it was pretty heartbreaking to see "Von Drakk tiles for $20", only to click on it and see it's out of stock, despite it saying they have 17 on just the page before. Oh well.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think. |

I needed something for X-wing and Malifaux, so I pulled the trigger on 2 of those bags and trays, came in at under $150 with some extra trays for customization. 5 bucks a tray is pretty damn good. Free delivery might hurt em on this one lol.
Also saw they had the 2'x2' tablescape display boards on clearance for $45 Automatically Appended Next Post: Vhalan wrote:Does anyone know how would those bags/foam work with Mierce resins? I dont see why it wouldnt work for Mierce infantry or monstrous infantry. The beasts are another matter. Some stuff seems impossible to transport. Like this wyvern is almost 7 inches from head to tail, and roughly 7" tall.
http://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_dkl_bry_gwy_mbs_601_000
Without magnetizing it, about the best I could think of is to get a 4 inch tray and a 7" try, kind of hollow them out and flip one over the other. I've just resolved myself that he lives in my display cabinet.

I posted a Game+Plus review on BGG awhile ago:
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1371930/gameplus-foam-trays-and-holding-bag
Won't answer all your questions, but it's a good inexpensive bag for carrying mini's. As posted, the trays do fit comic book boxes. The material's not strong enough for abuse, like lugging books and boardgames inside the bag, insstead of foam and mini's.

OP: Thanks for posting. I picked up some foam (they re-stocked since yesterday) and two board games. I'd get some Infinity stuff as well, but I think I'm better off with the starter set.
