So my buddies and I placed a forgeworld order on the new site, and apparently entered our country as Poland by default, but our address clearly shows a USA address. When we got the shipping confirmation email, it had everything right but below the address it said "Poland."
We sent them an email but didn't get a reply just yet. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, how was it resolved?
I almost assume they enter in the address into their system and it automatically fills in USA since I'm sure Poland does not have our address anywhere.
Thanks!

There's no place to put the country when putting in your address. However, when you first go to the page and it asks you to select your country, it will say, 'delivering to X' at the top of the page. If you accidentally hit 'Poland' the site would still be in English.
On the third hand, I remember hearing Poland come up a few times in regards to international shipping from FW, so it might that's where it's going before being sent to the U.S.

This happened to me recently. Just email Forgeworld and they'll fix it for you. Here's their response: Thanks for the email, Sorry about your order not arriving, it seems to be going to the wrong country, It looks like someone let the mail order troll out of his cage for the evening and as a small riot and minor skirmishes followed the chaos of his "night on the town" our shipping regions were jumbled up.. I have sent you a second order confirmation with the products on your original order and amended the shipping address. We have noticed this issue occurs when a customer clicks on an outside link from a web browser search or even a link on a forum. Your order will be sent via UPS tracked mail to reduce the risk and time of it getting to you without troll dribble all over it. For future order please double check your shipping address is set to your region and also it might be worth checking that the flag above the search bar is set to your country as well. Thanks again and speak soon (p.s. the troll has been punished for his crimes)
Cheeky fellows.

That's interesting. I wonder why coming in from an outside link defaults to Poland?

A similar thing happened to me.
I placed an order on their website in mid November. A week later we got the shipping notice saying it was shipped.
By end of December I called them to ask where it was. I would have called earlier but they say not to call unless it's been like 6 weeks. They said they didn't know why I had received a shipping notice and that it's actually shipping on January 4 and I should have it in another couple of weeks.
I called again the first week of February. This time they say the problem is that I had selected Spain as my country. Not possible I tell him as I'm pretty OCD about stuff like that. Never mind the fact that any shipping software in the world should recognize that my address is not in Spain. Either way he "fixed" it and told me it'd be another few weeks.
It finally arrived a week ago. Total time from when I placed the order until the book arrived was around 17 weeks ( 4 months for anyone paying attention ) for something that was ordered well in their "before Christmas" time frame.
I think they have something seriously wrong with their website as far as country setting goes. They certainly have something wrong with their shipping software as those addresses ought to be validated before they print a label.
Funny thing is I have ordered a few items from the UK, all of which cost far less than this order, and every single one of them provided tracking information - for free.

Thanks for the responses! I emailed them, and it turned out UPS noticed how the address only existed in USA and automatically fixed it. Very strange that Poland seems to be the default.

Baldeagle91 wrote:I always found it weird how Google will send me to the polish site... despite living in the UK... lol It's not because Poland is the default, it's because the way they did the new site. The old site would save your location, so when you went to "www.games-workshop.com" it just automatically took you to your country, if you changed your country, it took you to the new country you chose. If someone posted a link to the GW site, there was no reference to the country in the link, it just took you to your country's version of that link. Now they actually have different addresses for different countries, so you go to "https://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU" if you're in Australia, "https://www.games-workshop.com/en- PL" if you're in Poland. Because it's actually in the address, if you click a link that someone posted from Australia, it will automatically change your default location to Australia. If for some reason a lot of Polish people have looked a page, it means when you google search something it'll bring up the link to Poland and change your default location to Poland when you click on it until you forcibly change it to be correct. Not a very intelligent way of doing it. It's why we have way more "OMG GW HAVE RAISED THEIR PRICES THROUGH THE ROOF!" threads when people didn't realise their default had been changed to New Zealand because they previously clicked a link to the NZ version of the site. Now it seems a lot of people have gone to the Polish version of FW so the 2nd link on google is to the Polish version of the FW webstore and if you click it, it will change your country to Poland for you
