Looking to play 500-1,500 point games. Any suggestions? Not looking to go full  , though. 
I like pretty much any and all play styles, and I play casually.
I currently have 1.5k CSM and 500 IG.
EDIT: Dark Eldar is now a poll option!

Orks are my vote. There are lots of them on the second hand market and you can take just about any vehicle in 40k and make it Ork for cheap if you have any Big Mek in you.

Maybe something that can ally with your IG since you only have 500 points? Either Skitarii or Blood Angels would give you cool options.

I'm just going to assume that you don't know what "I don't like cheese" means. It means he doesn't want to be the filthy scrub that nobody likes playing against (aka the cheesemonger).
I'd say that you should run Skitarii. You've got CSM, IG , so you could always run Skitarii as renegade AdMech if you ever want to pursue the IA 13 route, which allow you to have CSM, IG, Skitarii, Skitarii/Guard, and Skitarii/ CSM armies. Lotsa variety.

Id say Dark eldar. they dont get enough love... (or do they?  )
