Does anyone know of a good company that makes flames and jet trails that go behind engines to make it look like its thrusting forward?

I doubt theres a company that does that because of all the different sizes they would have to make. I imagine they wouldnt be hard to do yourself with an airbrush (or paint bursh) and some cotton balls. People do similar things with destroyed tank markers.

The picture posted was of a cigarette lighter.

I don't really have any ideas. What you see in a jet exhaust is a source of light suspended in mid air, not really something easy to fake.
