If I had a Veterans instincts card applied to a Saber squadron interceptor would that then allow the Saber squadron pilot the ability to use the title?

I know it is just as easy to use the Royal Guard pilot and at the same cost, I have a title card, and VI but no Royal Guard. Before you ask, got them from trades.

There might be an odd interaction if you get crit with the effect that cancels your EPT (stunned pilot?.)

I'm pretty sure that the wording of the title says the PS is required to equip the card, so I'd imagine you'd be ok, as you've already equipped it legally before your PS drops, but it's late and I CBA to double check, sorry!

That is a rather interesting thought and conundrum Azreal13

FFG has confirmed that using Integrated Astromech to pop your R2-D6 does NOT cause you to lose the acquired EPT. Like you said, it's already equipped legally.

Why not just run a Royal guard Pilot, and keep your EPT slot?

Because, at the moment, I do not have a Royal Guard Pilot, but do have the Royal Guard Title card from a trade. When I get the Royal Guard pilot, it is a redundant question, but it is an as of right now question for me.

Not to be a jerk, but you can pick up the Imperial Aces box on Amazon for 20 bucks and get a lot of goodness both in models and pilots/upgrades.

Yes. Will have it about the middle of next week. Still doesn't help right now. Will play at least one more game before it arrives. I did say that I didn't have it yet, not that I was never getting it.
